Ingredients

 

● 1 onion, chopped

● 1 carrot, chopped

● 2 cloves garlic, chopped

● 1 cup red lentils, rinsed

● 6 cups vegetable broth

● 2 tablespoons Citrus Fire Brew

● ½ teaspoon cumin

● ¼ teaspoon coriander

● ¼ teaspoon salt

● Black pepper, to taste

● Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

● Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions


1. Prep the Ingredients
Chop the onion, carrot, and garlic. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly.

2. Sauté Aromatics
In a large pot, heat a little oil and sauté the onion, carrot, and garlic until soft and fragrant (about 5–7 minutes).

3. Simmer the Soup
Add the lentils and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until lentils are tender.
