Ingredients:

4 ripe pears, peeled and cored

2 cups Elderberry Fire Brew

1/2 cup sugar

1 cinnamon stick
Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine Elderberry Fire Brew, sugar, and cinnamon stick. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

Add the peeled and cored pears to the saucepan and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the pears are tender.

Remove the pears from the poaching liquid and let them cool slightly.

Serve the poached pears warm or chilled, drizzled with some of the poaching liquid.
