Instructions for Smoothie:
- Prepare Ingredients: If using frozen elderberries, there's no need to thaw them. If using fresh elderberries, ensure they are cleaned and destemmed.
- Blend: In a blender, combine the elderberries, banana, yogurt, almond milk,  Elderberry Fire Brew honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and chia seeds or flaxseeds (if using).
- Add Ice: If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend all ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste the smoothie and add more honey or maple syrup if needed.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass.
- Garnish: Optionally, garnish with fresh berries and a sprig of mint for an extra touch.
Tips:
- Fire Brew: Adjust the amount of Elderberry Fire Brew to your taste preference. Start with 1 tablespoon if you’re new to fire cider’s tangy and spicy flavor.
- Banana: For a creamier texture, use a frozen banana.
- Boosters: Add a scoop of protein powder or a handful of spinach for an extra nutritional boost.
