Citrus Fire Brew Glazed Portobello Mushrooms

Meat and veggie lovers can unite around this dish rich in fiber, protein, and antioxidants. Mushrooms are a great sources of selenium - which is known for boosting immune function, improving hair and nail health, and supporting a healthy thyroid!

Ingredients:

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed 
  • 1/2 cup Citrus Fire Brew 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Citrus Fire Brew, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh thyme leaves, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the portobello mushrooms on the prepared baking sheet, gill side up. Brush the Citrus Fire Brew mixture over the mushrooms, coating them evenly.
  4. Roast the mushrooms in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until tender and juicy.
  5. Serve the glazed portobello mushrooms hot! You an slice them and eat them right off the plate or put them on buns with a slices of cheese and lettuce!!
